A Major Milestone for Takaido
Today, we are proud to announce that Takaido has closed a $3,400,000 Seed Round led by Adaverse, one of the leading blockchain-focused investment firms in the world. This investment marks a pivotal moment in our mission to build the critical infrastructure layer that will power the decentralized web for billions of users.
Why This Matters
Web3 has enormous potential, but realizing that potential requires robust, reliable, and developer-friendly infrastructure. Today, too many blockchain applications struggle with slow development cycles, unpredictable costs, fragmented tooling, and unreliable node services. At Takaido, we have spent the past two years building solutions to these exact problems.
Our flagship products — TakaNode, TakaBridge, TakaDAO, and the TakaDeFi SDK — are already powering over 50 production DApps and securing more than $2 billion in total value across integrated protocols. This Seed Round gives us the resources to dramatically accelerate our product roadmap and expand our team of world-class protocol engineers.
About Adaverse
Adaverse is a leading blockchain investment and accelerator program with deep expertise in Cardano and cross-chain ecosystems. Their portfolio includes some of the most innovative protocols and infrastructure projects in Web3. Having Adaverse as a strategic partner brings not just capital but invaluable expertise in protocol design, ecosystem development, and global market expansion.
"Takaido represents exactly the kind of foundational infrastructure investment the Web3 ecosystem needs. Their technical depth, developer focus, and cross-chain vision make them uniquely positioned to solve the interoperability challenges holding back mainstream adoption." — Adaverse Investment Team
What We Are Building
The funds from this Seed Round will be deployed across three primary areas:
- Engineering Team Expansion: We are hiring 12 new engineers across protocol development, smart contract security, and developer tooling. These positions are open globally with a preference for distributed teams.
- Protocol Development: TakaOracle and TakaID will move from private beta to public mainnet deployment. We will also launch TakaScale, our Layer 2 sequencer service for high-throughput applications.
- Ecosystem Growth: We are launching a $500K developer grants program to fund projects building on Takaido infrastructure. Applications open in January 2026.
The Infrastructure Gap in Web3
To understand why Takaido's mission matters, consider the current state of Web3 development. When a developer wants to build a DeFi protocol today, they face a labyrinth of choices: which chain to deploy on, which RPC provider to use, how to handle cross-chain assets, how to implement governance, how to access reliable oracle data, and how to manage user identity. Each decision requires integrating separate tools from different providers, each with their own documentation, pricing, and reliability track record.
This fragmentation is not just inconvenient — it is a fundamental barrier to adoption. It means Web3 applications take longer to build, cost more to maintain, and fail more often than they should. Takaido exists to change this by providing a unified, production-grade infrastructure stack that handles the complexity so developers can focus on what makes their applications unique.
Our Vision for 2026
With this funding in place, our goals for 2026 are ambitious. We plan to achieve 200+ active DApps on our infrastructure, launch in 20+ blockchain integrations, open a Singapore office to better serve Asian markets, and complete our Series A raise as we approach product-market fit at scale.
Most importantly, we are committed to open-sourcing the Takaido Protocol specification and establishing a decentralized governance structure so that our infrastructure belongs to the communities that depend on it.
Join the Journey
Whether you are a developer looking to build on reliable infrastructure, an enterprise seeking Web3 integration support, or a protocol looking to expand your reach, we invite you to be part of what we are building at Takaido.
